Aldo Castillo projects’ mission is to maximize art fair exposure and productivity to forward thinking galleries and artists in top global art markets.
Aldo Castillo’s life has been dedicated to Art Education, Art Exposure and Cultural Tourism. Aldo Castillo is an established fine art dealer and art curator with more than 25 years of experience in managing, marketing and developing the arts. Castillo founded the Aldo Castillo Gallery in Chicago (1993-2010), the Aldo Castillo Arts Foundation (ACAF, 2003-2010), and Chicago ARTE ahora Art Fair (2008-2010).
Currently Aldo Castillo is the Associate Director of the American Pavilion Shanghai Art Fair (Shanghai, China). In 2010 / 2011, Aldo Castillo was the Associate Director of MIA - Miami International Art Fair at the Miami Beach Convention Center. In addition, Castillo is the founder of Chicago ARTEahora - the only Chicago Latin American Art Fair ( 2008 / 2009).
Aldo Castillo’s portfolio includes many awards and recognitions, over 250 art exhibitions and the development of a huge variety of important public and private collections in Chicago and around the world. Aldo Castillo is one of the most respected authorities on International Art.
Aldo Castillo is born in Nicaragua and immigrated to the United States in 1985.
